Peel and Stick Solar Energy

Alternate Non-Flat Roof Installations

Randy was determined to install our Peel and Stick Solar Charging System on his new EZ-GO 2 Five LSV Golf Cart. He quickly realized his roof top was not flat. Earth Care Suggested Plexiglas riveted to the existing top then apply our Peel and Stick Solar Panel. Randy was determined to make the surface area look great and give me the size solar panel he wanted to use. Below are the steps and fabrication parts used to install our system for around $100.00.

Grady,
Here are the pictures of my EZ-GO 2 Five with the aluminum top.
The shop used 1/8 in flat aluminum with aluminum standoffs.
The standoffs are like short pieces of pipe with aluminum bolts
run through them. I had the awning company punch holes in the canvas
top and put grommets in the top. The bolts go down through the standoffs,
the canvas top, the roof and frame and used flat washers with the grip nuts.
Worked just fine. Laid the solar panel on the aluminum top and centered it.
Marked around the top with a sharpy then peeled off the left side 1/3 paper
and pressed on from left to right. Went on easy.
